Favorite Verse: Psalm 20:7 "Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God."
Personal: I accepted Christ as my savior when I was only 3 years old. Although young, I still gained an understanding that my sin separated me from a perfect God and that the punishment for my sin was death. However, because God loved me, He sent his Son to pay the penalty for my sins and died in my place on a cross, conquered death, and rose from the grave three days later. Romans 10:9 and 10 says "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." From the time I turned 6, until I was 15 my family lived overseas in the Dominican Republic as my parents served as Church planting missionaries with CrossWorld International. It was during these years that God continued to grow within me a desire to serve Him full-time. I have learned that the Christian life is all about surrender. My life, is God's life in me, for Him to do with whatever He wants.
